The BS3 Winter Lantern Projects Community Interest Company (CIC) is a voluntary organisation that works with local schools, community groups, businesses and residents to organise and fund a three-month creative programme. The programme culminates in a lantern parade through the streets of Bedminster in the BS3 area of Bristol. Participating groups display the large and small lanterns they have created, accompanied by bands and supported by local councillors and the Member of Parliament.

The CIC's principal stakeholders are the participants in the three-month project, who design, create and display the lanterns. Throughout the project, the CIC and its artists work closely with children, teachers and other adult participants to ensure that the finished lanterns reflect each groups ideas, creativity and aspirations.

The CIC also delivers community workshops that enable residents to create artistic pieces. Participants are supported by artists to develop their ideas, draw on their knowledge of the local area and build their creative skills.

Local traders who provide sponsorship are another important stakeholder group. They are consulted on matters including the proposed parade route, helping to maximise benefits for participating businesses and increase their visibility through the CIC's social media channels and website.

After each event, the CIC invites feedback from all stakeholders, including suggestions for improvement.

The safety of participants, volunteers and spectators remains a primary priority for the CIC.
